Here is a list of some my favorite Weight Loss Websites. If you have anything to add, please email me!

Weight Watchers
Where else? I have been an online member of Weight Watchers online since February 2. They have a lot of wonderful things including an online journal, recipe search, recipe builder, and some amazing support on the bulletin board.
Journey Fitness
I have established a personal training program for people who are interested in making a complete lifestyle change that is (relatively) painless and permenant. If you're looking for a trainer who understands how challenging the weight loss journey can be, I am here to help!
Fitness Rocks
This is my FAVORITE podcast. Dr. Monte Ladner takes medical studies and makes them easy for regular folks, like you and I, to understand.
Food.com
This site is great because not only are there thousands of recipes, but every single one has nutritional information AND has been rated by people who have tried the recipe. I keep my recipes there and have found that often people give me ideas on my own recipes that I hadn't considered. It is the first place I go when I want a new recipe for an old favorite to see if I can find one that is lower in calories. If I can't find one, I make one up!
Serious Weight Watchers
A Yahoo group for people who are serious about WWers. We don't allow whining or complaining and you won't find a group of people who are only there to tell you what you want to hear. What you will find is a support system that will allow you to cry on their shoulder one minute, and be willing to lend a supportive boot to kick you in the behind when you stray off program. If you're not serious about losing weight, don't bother...but if you are, you won't find a better support system!
JourneyNutrition
While there are a lot of free journaling sites online, this one (at $10 a month) has food plans, tracks complete nutrition (not just fat, calories, carbs, protein), and allows you to track other goals and charts. For a free 2 week trial (no CC required), email here.
My Plate at Livestrong.com
I am a HUGE Lance Armstrong fan. He's one of my fitness and goal setting heroes. The Lance Armstrong Foundation has adopted The Daily Plate as a free online journal. The journal itself is "okay" as it does allow reader-input nutrition information (and sometimes the readers put in just really ODD nutrition information). However it's a great resource for finding calorie counts in restaurant food, and also has a lot of other features worth checking out. Bookmark this baby!
100 Favorite Recipes
An excellent selection of, well, 100 favorite recipes.
Every Day Health
This site has a TON of information related to all aspects of health, including an online journal that is free! Suggested to me by Katie! Thanks Katie!
Calorie King
User friendly web interface for getting nutrition information on thousands of foods. No longer free for journaling
Shape.com
If you like Shape Magazine, you're going to love this website! It's got excellent articles and resources to help you get your body into tip top condition!

Fitday
If you're not ready to commit to signing up with Weight Watchers, Fitday has a free (although less user friendly) online journal. The great thing about this journal is, it gives you nutrition information as well as calories.

Curves for Women
This is where I first started working out. I still go six days a week. It is an excellent workout for anyone, but especially for people new to fitness. It is easy, non-threatening, and best of all, FUN!
Self.com
The website has this really neat things, like nutrition journals, exercise journals, etc.

Suggested Reading

Below are books that I've read in relation to weight loss. I'd highly suggest picking up any of them. If you click a link will take you to Amazon.com. If you buy from them, it helps support my website (and book habit). My personal books I'm reading (I read QUITE a bit) are on my Personal Goals page.

While I don't do the diet the way he does, the fitness part is outstanding. Definitely worth looking into if you want to challenge yourself physically.

Reinventing Yourself is a wonderful and inspiring book! Love it! Sarah Ferguson is a hero to me.

Self Esteem Comes in All Sizes. I read this book before I started because it was important that I love myself the way I am now. Not in the in the future. It helped me find value in me and made taking care of my body a priority. Not out of a sense of shame, but a sense of worth.

Camryn Mannheim is a big beautiful woman who does not apologize for her size! Love her! This is another book I read when I was learning to love myself the way I am.

Another excellent book that helped me embrace myself as a fat woman before losing weight.

Excellent book for learning how to lift weights correctly, how to target areas you want to tone, and how to tone up without bulking up.

Triathloning for Ordinary Mortals is helping me get my Triathlon Training Together. Good book with some great ideas to take beginners from the couch to the race.

Gotta love a cookbook with fast, easy, NORMAL recipes AND Points values!
